Once a year, The Meat House and Redhook Brewery team up to they throw a huge bash with over three thousand of our closest friends to celebrate and thank the military by hosting a BBQ and raising money for a fanstastic cause. The event raises funds for the New Hampshire Air National Guard's Chaplain's Emergency Relief Fund (CERF), which provides financial assistance to military families in need.
This year's event will be held on Sunday July 29th, 2012 from 1100 to 1600 at the Redhook Brewery in Portsmouth, New Hampshire!
Operation: Thank You! has quickly become one of the largest and most respected military appreciation events in New England.
In addition to thanking all military, the event is a celebration of food, fun, family and friends, and , for the first time, this year will be a zero waste event! OTY 2012 will be hosted by Greg Kretschmar of WHEB/WGIR's Greg and the Morning Buzz, and includes:
- A cookout, done The Meat House way!
- Ice cold Redhook beer on tap
- Live music
- A Kids Corner with games and prizes
- Awesome raffle items (steak tips for a year, anyone?)
